The dealer will deal you and every other player 2 cards each and will place them face down, he / she will also deal themselves 2 cards and one face down and one face up.

You play blackjack by adding up the values on each card and whoever is closest to 21 when all players have finished playing will win.

The values of each card are 2 through to 10 are all held at face value, Jack, Queen and King all have the value of 10 and an ace either has the value of 1 or 11 depending on which the player chooses to play.
If more than one player has the same value at the end of a game then there will be no winners and the game will restart.

The average blackjack table will hold six players at once and will either play with 6 or 8 ecks of cards that are shuffled together to form 1 deck, if your cards are less than 21 you have the option to stick which means stay with the cards you have, or twist which means get more cards off the dealer until you have the right amount as long as it is not over 21.
